Much fresher than tehina from a jar.  Serve with Mazza or crudites.

Israeli Tehina from Scratch

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unhulled organic sesame seeds
  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • cumin
  • fresh garlic cloves
  • olive oil
  • water

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients above into Vitamix blender
  2. Puree together until consistency is thick and smooth
  3. Top with paprika, pine nuts and high quality olive oil
  4. Bon apetit!
