About Kitchen Caboodles:

Kitchen Caboodles happens to be one of my favorite stores. Whenever I need a new dessert inspiration, I know that I can run in and get kosher great quality chocolate for baking, any size tart pan or baking mold. They carry any kitchen or baking gadget that you can conjure up.  The salesgirls are so cute because they truly LOVE what they do. Ask them which gourmet cookbook on the shelf is a good one and their eyes light up! Ask them for an easy holiday dessert idea and they whisk through the store bubbling with excitement.  Take a break and run in to Kitchen Caboodles or give them a call, and you will see what I mean!  Marlene

“Hi hostesses!  My name is Suzanne Sasson and my parents own and operate Kitchen Caboodles 492 Ave P between East 4th and 5th street, in Brooklyn, NY.  Of course, as usual I have to always bud in!  So they decided to put me to work.  We have been opened on Ave P since 2005 and over the years we have doubled our space.

We have a mikveh kelim on premises where the torturous errand of toveling can be combined with shopping for anything you’ll need for your kitchen.  We have everything from gadgets, tablecloths, gift ware, flatware, dishes, pots and complete lines of bake ware and kosher baking ingredients from Wilton. We carry products from All-Clad, Cusinart, Le Cruset, Viking, OXO, Zyliss, Nordicware, Bodum and much more.

We are  a full service kitchen boutique where shopping is fun, informative and EASY!!!  We will take your phone order  and then tovel it in the mikveh and have it delevered!!! (718) 998-9111

  7. Mazie says:

I would love to win !!

  8. The first thing I would make would be the banana bread instead of using a hand held mixer! I have a great parve recipe, but it is a pain to hold the mixer for too long!

  9. shannon says:

Never had a mixer like this one before, just a hand mixer. If I won this,I’d love to make my own challah.

  10. Stephanie S. says:

I would love to make all different types of challah – – – cinnamon, chocolate chip, whole wheat, etc.! It would make the house smell soooo good!

  11. esty mosseri says:

    Cakes,cookies,challah,and more!

  12. Janice says:

I’d love to make whole wheat challah. Healthier than the bakery version and would also help our budget.

  13. EM says:

All I have now is a hand mixer that threatens to die every time I make a thicker batter – like my cherry pie filling cake.
I’d also love to bake my own bread more often.

  14. charlotte says:

I would love to have a mixer cause i never had one :( My friends all think i’m nuts that i make challah every week by hand. I love to bake for my family and do so every week with a different recipe of cookies, cakes and pastries. I use a small hand mixer and would love a viking mixer to enhance my weekly baking!

  15. Zeruiah says:

If I win the very FIRST thing I will be making is this AWESOME kosher Lemon Poppy Seed Bundt Cake that is a staple in my house! I absolutely cannot wait!! Thank you so much for this contest !!! Praying I win!! LOL

  16. My stand mixer died a few months ago, so we have been doing everything by hand. My hands and arms are tired! So I will use the mixer for everything! lol I will probably start with cookies for the kids, though. Then go on to something more exciting. :)

  17. Lynn Anne says:

I have just begun home canning, and I’m looking forward to trying some freezer jams, too – all of which seem to require some kind of electronic help with the fruit! I’d also like to whip up fruity ice cream toppings for the summer. My Viking would get a pretty easy start…no full fledged baking till fall, when we get into pumpkin breads and holiday challlot!

  18. jeff says:

Why do I want to win a new mixer? Thats easy, I’m using a broken down kitchen-aide that I bought my late wife about 15 years ago. I love fresh bread and had to learn how to make it myself of buy bread that to me is not much more than congealed wall paper paste. Admittedly it took a few years and a lot of mistakes before I learned how to make perfect bread all the time(hey I can plumb a house, swing a hammer, and use every tool in a cabinet shop),but now that I am very good at it my machine is nearly kaput.
So why me? The ladies at shul expect me to bring challah for our Oneg every week! YES, me the “Jewish Handyman”(I know that is an oxy-moron!)who not only can rewire the room and repair the ceiling in our Oneg Room but makes the best challah in the congregation. So please help me keep everyone happy by helping me continue a very unorthodox tradition!

  19. Risa says:

Chocolate chip cookies, at least 6 dozen
Can’t you smell them fresh out of the oven?

Flourless chocolate cake, rich and gooey
Challot with crispy crusts and insides so chewy

Apple cake, carrot cake, banana bread too
What this beautiful mixer and I could do

The ideas are countless, the calories many
But the main thing is to give my friends mixer envy!

  20. Yaffa says:

I would LOVE to have a mixer big enough to make a 5 lb batch of challah on those erev Shabbos days when I’m too tired or too rushed to do it all by hand:-)

  21. Chava says:

4 birthday cakes for my 4 kids birthdays, all in August.

  22. sarena says:

I would love to win this to make my family’s challot for Shabbat!!

  23. Shuli says:

Oh, where to begin with this mixer?
I’d also probably start off with it for Pesach.
The strawberry fluffs, the lemon mousses…. the flourless cakes.
This could be the first year I don’t burn out a hand mixer!!!
    Thanks for running this contest.
